Franjevački samostan Petrićevac. Knjižnica

Library of the Franciscan Monastery of Petrićevac, located at Banja Luka. The monastery was built between 1873 and 1875, and since that time there has been a library in it. Throughout its 150-year history, the monastery has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, and so has the library. The last time the monastery was demolished was in 1995, and it was rebuilt in 1996/1997. As a result of these destructions, many manuscripts were lost. The remaining collection includes two manuscript copies of the Qurʼan and eight smaller volumes with supposed commentaries on the Qurʼan, which were acquired by the Bosnian Franciscan and Provincial Fr. Boris Ilovača, who bought them in Mostar in 1926.
